Authentication of medical reports

The purpose of the attestation of the College of Physicians and Surgeons is to confirm that the physician maintains an up-to-date license at the time of medical report issuance in that province/territory. The College of Physicians and Surgeons does not authenticate medical results and analyses.

Ensure that the medical report you require to be authenticated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons is signed by the physician and that their registration number appears on the report. The name of the physician must be printed and clearly legible.
Ensure that all of the required tests, test results, and medical reports are fully completed when you are applying for a Saudi Arabian Employment or Residency visa.

All medical tests required in the medical report for Saudi Arabia are designed for Canadian travelers and are available at Canadian medical facilities (including malaria, hepatitis A, hepatitis E, etc.)

Any licensed physician in Canada can administer the medical report.

Role of the College of Physicians and Surgeons

The College of Physicians and Surgeons is the self-regulating body for a province’s medical profession. The College regulates the practice of medicine to protect and serve public interest. It issues certificates of registration to doctors to allow them to practice medicine, monitors and maintains standards of practice through peer assessment and remediation.

The attestation of medical reports at a provincial/territorial College of Physicians is required by many embassies in order to be internationally recognized.
