UAE Police Clearance

UAE Certificate of Good Conduct or UAE Police Clearance Certificate

A United Arab Emirates Certificate of Good Conduct or Police Clearance is required for Canadian immigration purposes if the applicant lived in the UAE in the past 10 years.

In order to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct or Police Clearance in the United Arab Emirates, please check the following:

A. If applicant has a copy of UAE ID (No need for Canadian fingerprints in this case), then scan and e-mail Visaenterprise the following requirements:

  1. A copy of UAE ID card.
  2. A digital colour passport-sized photograph.
  3. A copy of the applicant’s passport(s) (including past passports used while applicant was in UAE).
  4. Supporting documentation that proves applicant has lived previously in UAE (such as a copy of UAE residency visa plus work documents).
  5. Form A: “UAE Police Clearance Payment Form” (at the bottom).

Once we receive your application, Visaenterprise experts will then complete the full required process that may include:

  • Transfer your file to our agents in the Emirates (Someday).
  • Submission of the application to the Police Department at the Ministry of Interior in the appropriate Emirate within the UAE.
  • The processing time at department takes about seven business days.( can be change depend on time of the year).
  • When the certificate issued, will email you the soft copy (PDF file), and instruction of verification link to UAE police department.

B. If applicant has no copy of UAE ID Card, then you must courier to Visaenterprise the following requirements:

  • A notarized fingerprint done in Canada, ten fingers.
  • The Visaenterprise Legalization Order and Payment Form at the bottom

Then we provide you the following:

  1. Legalization/attestation of a Notary Public ( Someday for $75 Can)
  2. Authentication at Global Affairs Canada.( up to 10 business days for $85 Can)
  3. Apostille/attestation at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Ottawa.(About 7 business days for $150 Can)
  4. Our Service fee ( $75 Can)
  5. Finally, we will return your stamped fingerprint to address of your choice(see the order & payment from)

Once we receive your application, Visaenterprise experts will then complete the full required process that may include:

1. Legalization/attestation of a Notary Public
2. Authentication at Global Affairs Canada.
3. Apostille/attestation at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Ottawa.
4. International couriering to our agents in the Emirates
5. Submission of the application to the Police Department at the Ministry of Interior in the appropriate Emirate within the UAE.
6. International couriering back to our head office in Ottawa
7. Couriering the completed Police Clearance certificate to the applicant

If applicant had a residency visa in UAE before 2010 , then you must courier to Visaenterprise the following requirements:
• A notarized fingerprint done in Canada, ten fingers.
• A copy of UAE ID card
• One colour passport-sized photograph
• A copy of the applicant’s passport(s) (including past passports used while applicant was in UAE)
• Supporting documentation that proves applicant has lived previously in UAE (such as a copy of UAE residency visa plus work documents)
• The Visaenterprise Legalization Order and Payment Form at the bottom

If applicant had a residency visa in UAE after 2010, and have done a finger print in UAE immigration system (No need for Canadian fingerprints in this case), then scan and e-mail Visaenterprise the following requirements:


• A copy of UAE ID card
• A digital colour passport-sized photograph.
• A copy of the applicant’s passport(s) (including past passports used while applicant was in UAE)
• Supporting documentation that proves applicant has lived previously in UAE (such as a copy of UAE residency visa plus work documents)
• The Visaenterprise Legalization Order and Payment Form at the bottom
